In my journey, I’ve realized that youth often spends its energy on the “view”—how life looks on the outside. But I’ve learned that a life well-lived is about the internal architecture of the soul. True impact begins when we stop worrying about our image and start focusing on our influence. As I often say, we must shape who we become to define what we leave behind.

This reminds me of 1 Samuel 16:7: “For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” To leave a mark, we must cultivate the heart. In the words of Stephen Covey from The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, we must “Begin with the end in mind.” If you want a legacy of kindness, you must be kind today.
